National's Here We Come!
Well guys( and girls) Easter weekend is over and the results are in! First of all a big Thank you to Christine and Aaron Stark and all Thunder Bay members who helped in setup or participated in the hosting of the event. It was a success, the new format( round robin 16) proved to be very exciting addition, and as you see in the final results...."We got ourselves a strong team this year" NODOR CUP material in my view! And how about the Board setup!! Very solid,very nice..very FAMILIAR!? Thats right Timmins sent up the setup schematics for our boards we built when we hosted last year. ZZ (Gary) and Tom Macdonald built these beauties with them and even improved on them! GREAT JOB!! BEAUTY SETUP!
Now that we got the Applause out of the way...what was up with the 4,00$ a drink thing?! OUCH! I guess it takes a 4,00$ dollar drink to wash down a 8,00$ sandwich!! HA HA! Feed back I recieved was that the rooms were very nice, but also got alot of feedback of the no pool or sauna situation.Another thing, the fact that we all have the ability to throw very pointy objects with extreme acuracy didn't seem to bother the staffs decision to be...RUDE to alot of our members!. All in all though the setup was a beauty..We need a stage though!. Tournament was ran very efficiently and the blood to alcohol ratio was at an all time low which in turn kept us all in check. GREAT TOURNEY LADIES AND GENTS!
